The birdiepal octagon is at minimum as robust as the birdiepal outdoor – known as the strongest trekking umbrella worldwide – and at the same time significantly lighter with only about 300 gramms. The umbrella owes its name to the newly invented octagonal fiberglass shaft to withstand extreme stress and strain. A modern very thin and still extremely durable polyamide fabric with Teflon®-treatment contributes to the enormous weight reduction. When opened, the canopy diameter measures a comfortable nearly 100cm = 38” diameter. This umbrella almost completely comes without any metal parts.
